Thank you for your interest in our website. The protection of your privacy is very important to us. Below we inform you in detail about the handling of your data.

1. Access data and hosting
You can visit our websites without providing any personal information. Each time a web page is called up, the web server only automatically saves a so-called server log file, which contains, for example, the name of the requested file, your IP address, the date and time of the call, the amount of data transferred and the requesting provider (access data) and documents the call. This access data is evaluated exclusively for the purpose of ensuring trouble-free operation of the site and improving our online presence. In accordance with Art. 6 para. 1 p. 1 lit. f GDPR, this serves to protect our legitimate interests in the correct presentation of our online presence, which outweigh our interests in the context of a balancing of interests. All access data is deleted at the latest seven days after the end of your visit to the site.

Hosting services through a third party provider
As part of a processing on our behalf, a third-party provider provides the services for hosting and displaying the website for us. All data collected in the course of using this website or in forms provided for this purpose as described below are processed on its servers. Processing on other servers only takes place within the framework explained here. This service provider is located in the USA and is certified under the EU-US Privacy Shield. A current certificate can be viewed
here. Based on this agreement between the USA and the European Commission, the latter has determined an adequate level of data protection for companies certified under the Privacy Shield.

2. Cookies and web analytics
In order to make the visit to our website attractive and to enable the use of certain functions, to display suitable products or for market research, we use so-called cookies on various pages. This serves to protect our legitimate interests in an optimized presentation of our offer according to Art. 6 para. 1 p. 1 lit. f GDPR, which prevail in the context of a balancing of interests. Cookies are small text files that are automatically stored on your terminal device. Some of the cookies we use are deleted at the end of the browser session, i.e. after you close your browser (so-called session cookies). Other cookies remain on your end device and allow us to recognize your browser on your next visit (persistent cookies). The duration of storage can be found in the overview in the cookie settings of your web browser. You can set your browser so that you are informed about the setting of cookies and decide individually about their acceptance or exclude the acceptance of cookies for certain cases or in general. Each browser differs in the way it manages cookie settings. This is described in the help menu of each browser, which explains how you can change your cookie settings. You can find these for the respective browsers under the following links:
Internet Explorer™
Safari™
Chrome™
Firefox™
Opera™
In case of non-acceptance of cookies, the functionality of our website may be limited.

3. Online marketing
Google Maps
This website uses Google Maps to visually display geographical information. Google Maps is a service provided by Google Ireland Limited, a company registered and operated under Irish law with its registered office at Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland (www.google.com). This serves to protect our legitimate interests in an optimized presentation of our offer as well as an easy accessibility of our locations, which prevail in the context of a balancing of interests according to Art. 6 para. 1 p. 1 lit. f) GDPR.
When using Google Maps, Google transmits or processes data about the use of the Maps functions by website visitors, which may include in particular the IP address as well as location data. We have no influence on this data processing. As far as information is transferred to Google servers in the USA and stored there, the American company Google LLC is certified under the EU-US Privacy Shield. A current certificate can be viewed here. Based on this agreement between the USA and the European Commission, the latter has determined an adequate level of data protection for companies certified under the Privacy Shield. To deactivate the Google Maps service and thus prevent the transfer of data to Google, you must deactivate the Java Script function in your browser. In this case, Google Maps cannot be used or can only be used to a limited extent.
Further information about data processing by Google can be found in Google's privacy policy. The terms of use for Google Maps contain detailed information about the map service.
The data processing takes place on the basis of an agreement between jointly responsible parties pursuant to Art. 26 GDPR, which you can view here.

4. Social media
Our online presence on Instagram, LinkedIn
Our presence on social networks and platforms serves to improve active communication with our customers and interested parties. When you visit our online presence in social media, your data may be automatically collected and stored for market research and advertising purposes. So-called usage profiles are created from this data using pseudonyms. These can be used, for example, to place advertisements within and outside the platforms that presumably correspond to your interests. Cookies are generally used on your terminal device for this purpose. In these cookies, the visitor behavior and the interests of the users are stored. This serves according to Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f. GDPR to protect our legitimate interests in an optimized presentation of our offer and effective communication with customers and interested parties, which prevail in the context of a balancing of interests. If you are asked by the respective social media platform operators for consent (agreement) to data processing, e.g. by means of a checkbox, the legal basis for data processing is Art. 6 (1) lit. a GDPR.
As far as the aforementioned social media platforms have their headquarters in the USA, the following applies: For the USA, there is an adequacy decision of the European Commission. This goes back to the EU-US Privacy Shield.
